Walking down the path from the house leads to the beach hut with its magnificent view over the ocean. It is a wonderful place from which to retreat from the sun and sip a cool drink.

Walking east from the hut leads to a unique spot on the beach. During a very low tide it is possible to actually walk out to the small island pictured above. The calm waters of the island are protected behind a reef that runs the length of the north side of Middle Caicos. Turning to the left shows the long stretching beach and beautiful Caribbean sky. To the right the beach stretches to the most northerly point of the island as well as the harbor where the local fisherman moor their boats.
